At Forté, we believe open communi- cation is the key to creating and sustaining a successful business. Our Current State Assessment & Consult is the perfect tool to facilitate and open the flood-gates of communication between you and your staff.
Many of us are visual learners so we've constructed this unique assessment as a comprehensive, visual evaluation depicting what is functioning well in your business, what isn't working, and where disparities exist, to help you make the necessary changes to keep your business moving forward.
*Note: the assessment itself is free to take; the follow-up consult & feedback are available for a fee. For additional information & pricing, visit the What's Yours? section.

♦ The Current State Assessment ♦
works two-fold. it functions:
1. As a tool that allows your Forté consultant to understand where you are in your business, how it functions, and how satisfied you are in its current state, in order to help you implement improvements.
2. As a self/ group reflective assessment to help you and your employees open up the gates of communication to function more cohesively and express opinions.
At Forté, our unique approach is to not just focus on the negatives or changes to be made, but to discover and celebrate the positives as well. Knowing what is functioning well in your business is as important as knowing what isn't, and it helps you understand where and why changes need to be made. However, these changes cannot occur if no one is willing to or comfortable speaking about them.
The CSA gives you and your employees a safe place to discuss the functionality of the business without the individual fear of "being thrown under the bus," or placing blame upon one another.
The assessment and subsequent consult benefit you and your staff by eliminating this fear and allowing employees to feel comfortable opening up. The visual results of the assessment help you clarify misperceptions among your team and give you a tangible platform to discuss how the business is functioning as a whole and where to make changes.

♦ Here's How We Do It ♦
The Current State Assessment is given in two main phases:
The Current State Assessment
and current state wheel

Each employee first fills out a questionnaire evaluation
with rankings from 0-7, based on their own perceptions in 12 key business function areas. (If doing this in conjunction with a Forté consult, it is required that this be filled out and sent to your Forté consultant prior to your scheduled consultation.)
Upon completion, each employee's assessment is returned
to Forté and your consultant will use the Current State Wheel to construct a visual representation of each person's questionnaire.
The Forté consultant will then compile each individual assessment to create a visual showing where you and your employees agree you are satisfied with the business, where things are so-so, and where disparities exist.

Either in person or via phone conference your Forté Consultant will meet with you and your team to discuss the results of the assessment, using the compiled visual Current State Wheel as a platform for discussion.
Your consultant facilitates an open forum discussion, where you will discuss not only what and where changes need to be made, but where things are functioning well. Based on this discussion, your Forté consultant helps you identify and build a list of potential changes.
Your Forté consultant will then work with you and your staff to implement these changes.
